A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Guilford County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be kept long enough to review and answer it. The message remains within the site's operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Guilford County Criminal History does not own, compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies official sources such as Guilford County Sheriff's Office, the Clerk of Superior Court, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and the North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry. Information collected about site visits is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies operate the search boxes that appear on the site. A provider's own privacy policy governs information entered in its tool, including its retention and sharing choices. Those practices are outside this site's control, so the applicable provider policy should be reviewed before a query is sent.
